Description DEMAINE Benoît-Pierre, aka DoubleHP 2008-06-02 01:41:32 UTC
When using the normal version of thunderbird, when I edit a long message (at least 2 lines), wherever my cursor is in the line, when I press up or down arrow to change line, the cursor comes back before the first character of the line. This means I can not stay in a colum, and just go upside.

This bug happens to me in Gentoo since about 2 years.

Using the same user profile, the bug does not occur when using mail-client/mozilla-thunderbird-bin, or thunderbird equivalent in Debian.

The bug occurs when I crate a new profile for my user, and for all users on my computer. The bug occurs when I disable all extensions. The bug occured for 2 years when using ~x86, and still there in x86 stable ( after compleet re-install of system; only kept make.conf and /home).

I noticed that when using the -bin version, the font is slightly bigger than usually. May be related, or not.

if you want sth fresh ... but it wont change anything, since I got since bug since about 2 years ... any old --info could do.

Fixed in 2.0.0.16, sync in an hour or so and reemerge it.

I was surprised i saw that the ebuild version number did not change ... but, the ebuild file has change date 2d ago ... maybe you did not think it worth a revision, since i am the only person complaining in years ...

Any way, now, it works fine :) Many thanks, this was really boring me since years.
