--nogui option need, even if it is built with --with-x11 or something.
for example, pintos project's automatic test phase, it needs bochs with --nogui option.

And they're not exclusive option,
so I can configure it with
./configure --with-x  --with-x11   --with-term --with-nogui

for all version.

seems to me that they are mutually exclusive...

All these configuration options are enabled in the latest ebuild if built with USE="X ncurses"

it looks to be passed now in 2.6.8
