Just distroyed my portage (don't worry got it back again). 
But portage-rescue-1.8.19.tar.bz2 is corrupt (trailing stuff) 
 
Maybe because it was not put into CVS with the -kb flag set?

For Drobbins - this is not a bug, the message about corrupt data is just bzip
complaining about the meta-data at the end of the tarball.

At least, tbz2tool is able to extract data from it.
portage-rescue-* should probably be a normal tarball, no?

it's a portage package and that's ok.
