Description Giacomo Ferrari 2008-03-23 09:06:13 UTC
My sister has a Thinkpad T60 with a Core Duo T2400(not core 2). I noticed that the 'coretemp' driver supports this CPU. However, when I run 'sensors', all I get is:

#sensors
General parse error

I am running gentoo-sources 2.6.24-r3. I read somewhere that this may be caused by a version mismatch between lm_sensors and the driver. This cannot be true because I am currently using the exact same kernel and lm_sensors on this very laptop I am typing on, and it all works with coretemp...

Come to think of it, sensors fails with the same messages even without coretemp modprobed. hmm..

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.run 'sensors'
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Prints "general parse error"

Can you check with 2.10.7, please?
