exifautotran, which is part of media-libs/jpeg, but not from upstream, but a gentoo-own script, doesn't rotate the thumbnail of an image.

That could be confusing as after rotation, you see the thumbnail in wrong direction, e.g. in gwenview.

Hanno, starting from >=media-libs/jpeg-7 we are using a Debian copy of exifautotran.

-> This bug should be reported to Debian bugtracking system.
