Apache Tiles is a templating framework built to simplify the development of web application user interfaces. Tiles allows authors to define page fragments which can be assembled into a complete page at runtime. Currently I have a ebuild available locally. Awaiting checks by kiory on his eclass before I commit to java-experimental.

Tiles isn't a dependency for a particular project and hasn't been needed so far. This project is still very much alive but has itself a zillion dependencies. http://apache.crihan.fr/dist/tiles/v3.0.5/tiles-3.0.5-bin.zip See for yourself. Unless actually needed, I'd rather close this bug.
