Description Sergey S. Starikoff 2007-11-22 12:58:08 UTC
After update sys-libs/pam to version 0.99.8.1-r1 (12/11/07) I've run update all depending applications
And just not long ago I've seen, that x11-misc/xlockmore-5.23-r1 crashes.
After re-emerge x11-misc/xlockmore behaves OK.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Happened every time before i"ve re-emerged x11-misc/xlockmore with new pam.
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Don't check password as it must, but crash

Expected Results:
Check password

Dependency on pam package was missed in e-build

What's your missing dependency here?

<snip>
 pam? ( virtual/pam )
</snip>

If something crashes for you, then attach a backtrace and post emerge --info.

That the applicantion wasn't rebuilt, when I've ran revdep-rebuild after update.

So bug is not in application, but anywhere in ebuild or portage.

Thank you. But too late. :)
After I've rebuilt xlockmore with new pam it works OK and I'm not shure, that it is possible to roll back to representation of this bug.
