installed xorg-server 1.3.0.0-r1
xf86-video-i810-2.1.1
intel Gm965 chipset, x3100 video card.

Reproducible: Always
Comment 1 Robert Bradbury 2008-01-21 17:17:26 UTC
I had problems with 2.1.1 with mplayer on an i915 chip. The xf86-video-i810-2.2.0 seems to have resolved them however. Others seem to find that driver problematic on the i965 chipset according to some other bug reports however.
Comment 2 Rémi Cardona (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-01-24 13:49:00 UTC
I've just added a snapshot of the upcoming 2.2.1 release, as upstream wants
more testing before making official releases.

Please try this snapshot on top of xorg-server-1.4.0.90. If it isn't fixed,
please open a bug in freedesktop's bugzilla [1] and paste the url here.

Thanks
