Description Darren Dale 2007-10-03 14:09:28 UTC
During the boot process, I get an error message:

/lib/rcscripts/addons/raid-start.sh line 42: find: command not found

Here is the offending line from raid-start.sh:

partitioned_devs="$(find /dev -maxdepth 1 -name 'md_d*')"

Maybe that needs to be

partitioned_devs="$(/usr/bin/find /dev -maxdepth 1 -name 'md_d*')"

I don't have any md_d* in /dev, so I am uneffected, but I imagine this could be a pretty big problem for some users.

Reproducible: Always

Sorry, should have checked my suggestion out first. /usr/bin/find doesnt work either.

Here is my emerge --info:

So you don't have find (sys-apps/findutils) installed or what's your problem?

I do have findutils installed, and find is located in /usr/bin

> or what's your problem?

As reported above, the find command is not found.
