Noticed a few people lamenting in gentoo-user that they hadn't received the recent ML's for GWN, despite them showing on the gentoo website. http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.gentoo.user/186279 And I've noticed they're not listed on the gmane copy of GWN either. I've figured this is either a bug, or somebody just forgot to send them ( after reading other bug reports discussing how complicated it was ) Reproducible: Always Expected Results: GWN in my inbox :)
wolf31o2: gwn-feedback is not a valid bugz account.
Well, gwn-feedback isn't a valid bugs account because people aren't supposed to be filing bugs. The GWN tells people to email gwn-feedback directly. We don't want bug reports on Bugzilla. Anyway, the GWN hasn't shown up in anyone's mail box because I haven't sent it. Expect the email version to come back eventually, but right now I have not yet decided how I want it handled. I am working on streamlining all processes and am not bringing back any "problem processes" until they can be streamlined and made to work more efficiently.
Care to elaborate what's the problem with http://sources.gentoo.org/viewcvs.py/gentoo/src/gwn/gwn_to_text.sh?rev=1.1&view=markup ?
Chris, is it possible to do a small announce on gentoo-gwn mailing list, to make users aware about situation? Some users still wait for new issues...
