Description Vitaly Kushneriuk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-04-15 12:59:57 UTC
lately .jpeg support in WMAker seem to be broken -> theme backgrounds can
not be loaded. It stoped working at some point after one of the updates. I
can't say which one, as I noticed it later.

$ wmsetbg /usr/share/WindowMaker/Backgrounds/BlueImage.jpeg
wmsetbg warning: /usr/share/WindowMaker/Backgrounds/BlueImage.jpeg:could not
load image file used in texture:the image format in the file is not
supported and can't be loaded

$ ldd /usr/bin/wmsetbg | grep jpeg
	libjpeg.so.62 => /usr/lib/libjpeg.so.62 (0x40303000)

I tried to remerge jpeg & WindowMaker, but it didn't help.

If "jpeg png gif" are not in your default USE settings, please add them into
/etc/make.conf and remerge

my fault again. make.defaults has a double entry for "gif" and no "jpeg" entry.

This has been fixed. Please emerge rsync and re-emerge windowmaker
