When any window overlaps the terminal part of the display becomes garbaled. I will attach screen shot to show what I am talking about. Please attach more information. I can't reproduce that here. What WM? What rxvt-unicode version? What version of Xorg? You seems to use fglrx. Have you tried with the open driver called “radeon”?
No additional information in nearly one month. Fixed?

I have the same problem with urxvt using the vesa driver. It doesn't happen with the intel driver, but i need the vesa driver becasue i cannot resume suspension with intel.
