Robert has been translating GWNs to zh_tw for a while now and has taken the staff quiz. Answers are not perfect IMO, but good enough to pass them onto recruiters :) Robert, please mail your quiz answers to recruiters@gentoo.org Thanks.
As usual, whenever ready send in the quizzes to recruiters@g.o, I'd happily review them once your mentor (Xavier in this case) deems them ready.
(In reply to comment #0) > Robert, please mail your quiz answers to recruiters@gentoo.org Right away. A little correction, I am translating GWN to zh_cn。:)
name change as per IRC with Le.
Guess the quiz is fine, also received your ssh-dsa public key.

(In reply to comment #6) > groups on stork: done (dev, cvstrans) (@neysx: is that all thats needed for GWN > translators ?) cvstrans: yes dev: no idea what this is used for Thanks for taking care of Robert.
(In reply to comment #7) > cvstrans: yes > dev: no idea what this is used for > Default for being able to change project pages etc in the gentoo module
(In reply to comment #8) > (In reply to comment #7) > > cvstrans: yes > > dev: no idea what this is used for > > Default for being able to change project pages etc in the gentoo module Not sure GWN translators are usually put in. I guess it should be like for sirseoman, trombik, st3vie or moloh who are all GWN-only translators, i.e. not GDP members.
-core: done bugzilla: done #gentoo-dev: done Still missing: his announcement

(In reply to comment #11) > Just for the record, GWN translators belong into these groups: dev, cvstrans > and cvsgwn. Thanks for the info and for the speedy recruitment.
Announcement sent. Le, if you have any issues remaining, feel free to bug me on IRC or reopen this bug.

Are you planning to become a developer?
Looks like he was a translator but now is inactive, maybe it's time to retire: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412581
CCing docs team to let them know about this retirement
If I decide to pick up the job again, will this be stopped? I figured I'd better find a successor before I retire, at least I should try.
You can still recover the work, of course :)
Thanks!
Will close for now then
No commit since 2013-02-25 and unattended bug assigned to him :/
- bugs reassigned - herds.xml cleaned - metadata.xml cleaned
Infra please proceed
Apologies for not keeping my word. But there really were stuffs that get in the way. Just one question though: Can I keep my email address as a forwarding address? Thanks!
Infra retirement done. (In reply to Zhang Le from comment #27) > Apologies for not keeping my word. > But there really were stuffs that get in the way. > > Just one question though: > Can I keep my email address as a forwarding address? > Usual email policy applies: Retired developers get their @gentoo.org mail forwarded for a number of months equal to the number of years they've been an official developer rounded up. Mail will be forwarded for a maximum of 6 months. This policy makes sure all devs will have a minimum of 1 months forwarding matching existing policy. And a dev that's been around for ~3 years will have 3-4 months to get personal mail moved to a non gentoo.org account.
