Thanks for your feedback and I hope the CD works for you. Can you explain to me how this particular resolv.conf "prevents network configuration?" /etc is writable once the cd comes up, dhcpcd should overlay resolv.conf with something good or you can hand edit it.

Dude, You took this the wrong way. I am trying to understand if this breaks usage or it's something you can live with. I am happy to release a new livecd, even just for a cosmetic problem. I was working on a known dhcpcd problem, and thought if I fixed both of these problems within the week, that might be cool. I was more trying to understand if the iso was busted for you or inconvenient. Let me know and I would be happy to fixor it up. Join us on irc too!
