The Gentoo News RDF feed doesn't have any HTML formatting, making it near impossible to read in RSS readers. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
neysx: Your field here. Is there an easy way to include the <a> and <p> tags into the RDF/RSS you are generating?
Not a docs-team issue and quite low on my list at the moment. FYI, news items were never expected to contain any html. Long news items were expected to contain a <summary> that may only contain plain text. That <summary> is displayed on the main page and appears in the feed. I'm not familiar enough with feeds. I guess I should just feed the same html that is output on www.g.o in an another news feed and wait for feedback.
Try http://www.gentoo.org/rdf/en/gentoo-news-test.rdf

It seems to be back to lack the HTML formatting again. Did something get reverted by accident?

No, you just need to read better :) Besides, I just tweaked my own on http://gentoo.neysx.org/rdf/en/gentoo-news.rdf It's almost the same as the test one previously mentioned. The only noticeable difference is it does not trigger a warning from feedvalidator.org even though it says both feeds are valid.
(In reply to comment #3) > Try http://www.gentoo.org/rdf/en/gentoo-news-test.rdf Try it again (in about an hour). It looks OK in my browser and raggle (text-mode reader). I expect feedvalidator.org will declare it valid without any warning, I'll check tomorrow.
I just replaced the current feed with the test version. Enjoy!
