Description Yeaw Chu Lee 2007-03-10 19:47:09 UTC
I like to request the ebuild for FFMPEG to include the screen/video grabbing feature supported by the "x11grab" flag. Well, that is if that additional feature will not break anything else. No need to rely on tools like xvidcap to do screen captures.

This is what I have added to the ffmpeg-0.4.9_p20070129.ebuild in my overlay -- see attached ebuild.

--enable-x11grab

Will be nice if that can be added as an additional USE flag variable for ffmpeg.

Many thanks.

Yeaw Chu

be so kind and attach a .diff patch if you want anyone to actually read this bug
Comment 2 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-03-10 21:52:59 UTC
As said in comment #1, attach a unified diff against current ebuild instead of pasting huge stuff inline.
