Description Bruno Laturner Lemes 2007-03-03 00:10:33 UTC
Well, the driver maker's site [1] specifically tells to do not use the Gentoo package, even if Gentoo does support the foo2zjs, and the foo2xqx is included in it. The [very simple] make instructions can be found in the site.

This printer does seem to be different from other Laserjet 1xxx series, since I can't even print a test page... well, of course, it's not a zjs protocol printer.

Uhh, just an extra question: Why does foo2zjs depends on vim?

vim is used in the make scripts and I see nothing in the portage ebuild that prevents usage of foo2xqx

do you have any idea what we are missing?
