Screen Shot does not work.
I click: file->aquire->screenshot
It then pops up the "screen shot" box and I click 'ok' and it reports a message
saying that "Cant open file for reading".

besides that, we're talking p.mask-ed development versions here -> don't expect them to work.

so thats all i get? just a "hey it works for me joe" well hey.. it dont work for me joe! :)

However I do appologize, I didnt know this package was masked.. 

Now Im puzzled how it got on my system, since I didnt...

fwiw, http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102784

so just u/g to gimp-1.3.12 or using something else to screenshot, like import/scrot/etc.
