error while retrieving email. Fetchmail 6.3.6
It issue LIST 1 instead of LIST and exit.

Reproducible: Always

According to rfc1939 part 5, "LIST 1" should display scan listing of message with number one, if such message exists and is not deleted. As seen on output of STAT command, there were 9 messages in your mailbox, so message number 1 was there too.

Did this error appear with some recent version of fetchmail? So far it seems the server is not standards compliant...

Is this is still an issue? Did you start getting this error after upgrading fetchmail?

Please try previous versions of fetchmail, as well as current 6.3.7 and report back.
