Description Yang Dehua 2007-01-25 03:59:56 UTC
I tried x11-drm-20060608-r1 on my ppc64 and it worked. Also kino-0.9.5 and its dependency rawrec-0.9.98 worked fine. Maybe they could be marked with test keywords.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="ppc64 ~ppc64 ppc ~ppc" emerge kino
     emerge x11-drm, after being unmasked
2.
3.

Actual Results:
They work as expected.

Comment 1 Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-01-31 21:00:42 UTC
added to ~ppc64 to kino and dependency (media-video/rawrec).

could you please explain why we should add ~ppc64 to x11-drm? I mean.. there are drm modules in the kernel and they work just fine here. Is there a specific reason why I should use x11-drm instead?

this is just a package that I need to keep the keyword up to date -and so sticking a few minutes in it I could use for another package- without a good reason

please reopen, if you disagree ;-) thanks for the report!
