Dean has been very helpful on the forums for quite a while now, so we'd rather let him move threads instead of having him make us do that. ;-) I've already seen a first draft of the quiz and as soon i'm perfectly happy with it, it will end up at recruiters@g.o.
Whenever you are ready, feel free to send in the quiz.
Good, I received your quiz today .. I even think I can approve them. Dean, could you please ping / msg me, when you're available on IRC ? Thanks.
LDAP is mostly done, still waiting for Dean to send me a ssh/gpg-key.
(In reply to comment #3) > LDAP is mostly done, still waiting for Dean to send me a ssh/gpg-key. Dean, I still need your ssh-pub key (If you don't have one, generate one with ssh-keygen, see http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/keychain-guide.xml), gpg-pub key would also be nice (see http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gnupg-user.xml on howto generate one).

OK, just sent the announcement. Dean, if you still have something missing (as in not working or don't know about it), feel free to ping me on IRC / mail me or reopen this bug.
First mail sent.
At the very least you should know that I have been active within the past two months due to my offer to help work out some solution to make your scripts act in something resembling a sensible manner. Since you dropped that conversation on the floor, I will offer a bit of advice here: your scripts should not send e-mail nor alter bugs if they have been tasked with checking for in-tree activity by those who do not have tree access.
By 2021-01-01, all non-commit access developers are required to provide tangible verifiable, quantitative proofs of their contributions to Gentoo, at least monthly. If this requirement is not satisfied, their retirement will proceed with the usual terms.
(In reply to Michał Górny from comment #14) > By 2021-01-01, all non-commit access developers are required to provide > tangible verifiable, quantitative proofs of their contributions to Gentoo, > at least monthly. If this requirement is not satisfied, their retirement > will proceed with the usual terms. Where, exactly, is this requirement documented, outside of some random comment on bugzilla? How, exactly, is attempting to work with you personally within the past two months not sufficient "tangible verifiable, quantitative proofs" of contribution? Why is there no indication of what would constitute "tangible verifiable, quantitative proofs" to your standard, especially considering that attempting to work directly with you personally apparently does not qualify? Why was no notice given until after the date "by" which such information was supposedly to be provided?
I mean work that benefits Gentoo users, not copying random words from a dictionary into meaningless messages.
(In reply to Michał Górny from comment #16) > I mean work that benefits Gentoo users, not copying random words from a > dictionary into meaningless messages. So, what you're not doing. Aside from your actions being the very definition of unproductive and having no benefit to users; Gentoo does not produce tangible goods, even those tangible goods made on its behalf, mostly conference swag and branded materials for sale to support Gentoo, are contracted out. And, again, please actually answer the questions laid out in comment 15.
We've received pilla's resignation via mail. We're going to wait the usual 14 days before proceeding.
