the postgres ebuild is outdated and should be bumped up to v7.1.3, java and
python should be made to work also, a better config function has to be written
to, work is 80% done, just putting it here not to forget

Hi!

Just added a depends on bug 127 (describes postgres-python problem) Because they
are related bugs.  When you FIX this bug the other one should be too. ala "two
birds with one stone."

Just doing a little bug triaging.

initial version committed, perl and python stil don't work. the rest is ok

submitted new version that has integrated perl scripting

added release 3 that handles python correctly now, closing the bug
