When trying to make a screenshot with the 'import' utility:
 import screenshot.png
 unable to open module file `/usr/lib64/ImageMagick-6.3.0/modules-Q16/coders/png.la'

How about that you re-emerge imagemagick w/ USE="png"? And why on earth are you CCing those zillions of devs neither of which actually maintain imagemagick or libpng?

"png" was the solution
