Previous Firefox installed was Firefox-1.5.0.8 (x86). "Quck launch" icons were present on Gnome desktop and panel. Upon emerging mozilla-firefox-2.0-r1 (~x86), popup error window occurs upon boot complaining that "firefox-icon" file not found. [anarchy - pixmaps] equery b firefox-icon.png [ Searching for file(s) firefox-icon.png in *... ] www-client/mozilla-firefox-2.0-r1 (/usr/share/pixmaps/firefox-icon.png) I guess I am failing to see what the problem truely is here. Maybe more explanation is needed on reports behalf?
It's not a problem for somewhat experienced users who can track down the icon change. Any links to the old Firefox icon (often created by users for convenience with right click >> add to panel) will break, resulting in the popup error until corrected. I assume this is because the ebuild does not check for desktop or panel links, which could be restored to use the new Firefox icon. I rated the severity "minor" because it could trip up less experienced users. Perhaps that's acceptable and the bug should be closed.
