the position in the manual is right after the PROXY settings from wget in a note.

drobbins, if you want me to replace the blurb about asking the mailing list with
the url to the snapshot just reassign the bug to me!

I'll be handling the portage-manual within the next few days... it needs a few
pages of info added to it (before Tuesday at the latest due to external factors).

After Tuesday the Portage Manual will be fair game for any developer who wants
to take it over :)

Everything else is fair game as far as I'm concerned...
