par2cmdline-0.4-packed.patch

This patch was integrated with a new ebuild par2cmdline-0.4-r2 but was 'not' published on the mirrors. Can this be done?
Comment 4 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-13 17:37:50 UTC
Dennis,

Thanks for your bug submission. Can you be more clear about what you are asking for? Is this a patch you created and say works and would like use to add to portage? If so, let us know exactly what you want and I'll see that it gets done assumming the patch is proper, etc.

Thanks.

Go try w/ -r1 please and see if this patch is really needed.

The par2cmdline-0.4-r1 ebuild still gives a big lot of warnings during compilation, but at least it does seem to compile more or less correctly. I suppose this works.

Small snippet of the warning it still produces:

par2fileformat.h:68: warning: ignoring packed attribute on unpacked non-POD field 'MD5Hash PACKET_HEADER::setid'
