I have a DEll Dimansion 8250 and when I boot from the install-x86-minimal-2006.0 CD i reach the root prompt but eth0 does not work.
I have run net-setup with the following ip:
host 192.168.1.2
mask 255.255.255.0
baddr 192.168.1.255
gateway 192.168.1.1
name server 68.87.66.196
and I can not ping the router at 192.168.1.1
while I can from a PC on the same network
I can not ping the pc and the pc can not ping the linux
It looks like e100 is not working

Please try a 2006.1 CD and see if you are having the same problems.
