Description Tomas 2006-07-31 06:47:22 UTC
It'd be nice to see the patch availible at http://wearables.unisa.edu.au/mpx/?q=downloads integrated into portage, say, via a mpx-flag to xorg-server.

It's really useful as a teaching tool, for instance!

Please request that it be incorporated into upstream code first. We will be happy to add a patch once it's in X.Org CVS. You can file a bug at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=xorg to do this. Please post the bug URL here.

Thanks!

It is merged by now:
http://wearables.unisa.edu.au/mpx/?q=node/144

How to use it in gentoo?

It's merged, but not released. You'll get MPX with xorg-server 1.8 when it's released. Or you can try our live git ebuilds in the x11 overlay.

Thanks
