mplayerplugin-3.25-r1 doesn't have the gecko-sdk use flag anymore, why? The README and INSTALL file both say that gecko-sdk can be used. I use mozilla-firefox-bin and have gecko-sdk and don't want to install mozilla-firefox . I like using an official build of mozilla-firefox because it's easier to post bugs. Having both on a system is extra bloat. I downloaded the mplayerplug-in 3.25 source and did: ./configure --enable-wmp --enable-qt --enable-rm --enable-gmp --with-gecko-sdk=/usr/lib/gecko-sdk make and the plugins compiled just fine. So what's the big idea here?

11 Jul 2006; Joseph Jezak <josejx@gentoo.org> +files/fix-cflags.patch, +mplayerplug-in-3.25-r1.ebuild: Removed moz/gecko-sdk references and fixed bug #139838.
I saw that bug in the changelog already, what does that have to do with the gecko-sdk not being in the use flags? It was in the use flags for 3.25 so why not for -r1, the source is the same and the author doesn't make any mention not to use gecko-sdk any more.
gecko-sdk will be removed from portage, no support/use flags for it any more. Ditto for mozilla.
