Description Steve Flack 2002-03-29 12:24:32 UTC
Hi,

This new ebuild updates squirrelmail to the current version. There appears to be
a problem with all the ebuilds so far in that squirrelmail seems to require RW
access to /tmp. This is easily fixed by chmod 777 /tmp. Whether you want to go
around changing permissions like this is probably questionable so this new
ebuild DOES NOT include this fix. I'll leave this one to you to decide ;-)

/tmp should have default perms of 1777 if you installed gentoo correctly
(extracted the tarball with the "p" option)

There is a now a newer version - 1.2.6. The ebuild should work if saved with the new version name as I don't think anything else has changed apart from the version number.

Donny,

Grant will be away for a few days, so he asked me to reassign some of his bugs.
Please handle this one, since you're a mail/net person.

Already been upgraded to 1.2.6 in the portage tree. Closing.
