In the ~x86 branch, gcc-config is no longer in the system profile and eselect-compiler has been put in it's place. The init script for distccd uses gcc-config. I have attached a diff between the old and new script that I created.

Sorry, this can't be done until eselect-compiler is stable. Stable ebuilds cannot rely on ~arch packages.

I'm not referring to the stable distcc, though.
