Description Stefano 2006-06-10 12:01:22 UTC
KDE Laptop power monitor (the KDE battery and power management tray icon) fails to start on KDE startup if, and only if, composite is enabled AND kcompmgr runs.

If kcompmgr (or composite) are shut down, everything works properly.

The strange thing is that disabling, then re-enabling the icon from the KDE Control Center makes it appear again, even with kcompmgr running...

Just FYI, if someone is still interested in working on this, on a full reinstall on another machine everything works...

Well, if you can't reproduce this on a fresh install, let's close this bug. Feel free to reopen if you manage to reproduce it.
