Name: Javier Villavicencio Email: javier.paya@gmail.com IRC nick: The_Paja Role: Gentoo/FreeBSD Javier has been helping out with Gentoo/FreeBSD, in particular with baselayout porting (but not limited to). No limits on gentoo-x86 (well, no _hard_ limits, he knows the common sense limits :) ) this time as Gentoo/FreeBSD is in main tree already (for trivial fixes and keywording at least). Thanks, Diego

Note to self: more caffeine... it's The_Paya, not The_Paja.
hey guys, I'll look after this. Javier, Please can you send Diego and I your quiz answers asap. Please allow for Diego to review as neccessary before copying me in. Regards
Please accept my apologies for the delays with this. I have reviewed the end-quiz and spoken to Diego on IRC. Sorry for not being able to catch you on IRC in person, but the quiz was almost perfect. I can't fault it on technicalities. Please complete the end-quiz and then send it to me, we can arrange a time to talk through it online and get your accounts setup :) Regards, John
end quiz recieved, lets go through it on IRC :)
He's always been resourceful in #gentoo-ar, not drowning in a glass of water. So i'm fine with him Diego.
end-quiz has been checked and is good to go. Javier, can you please provide me with a public ssh key. Once I have this, we can complete the account setup :) Many thanks.
user account setup, just needs an announcement mail :D
there was an announcement on Sep 9th, I think this can be closed
Dear Javier, Possible retirement pending as you haven't shown any activity in the past two months. - Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: 169670: 2007-03-12 11:42:39 - Last CVS activity: Sat Apr 7 17:53:21 UTC 2007 If you are just away, then please use the devaway system. Please be advised that devaway may also be considered inactive if it extends past 60 days. Please reply and advise on your situation. Any developer found to be inactive for a period in excess of 60 days is subject to be retired. Please be aware that if we have not heard from you within 2 weeks time, we will begin the retirement process. If we do retire you, it's pretty easy to come back when you are ready. Just do the ebuild/end-quiz again and you're back on.
I have updated devaway, will be back by the end of January.
(In reply to comment #11) > I have updated devaway, will be back by the end of January. Ok, thanks a lot!
- Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: 69670: 2007-03-12 11:42:39 - Last CVS activity: 0.85 years ago at 17:53 on Apr 07, 2007 Javier's .away says he will be back by the end of January but he's still not available. I've sent the first mail today.
Got the email. I got the job *issue* almost solved (done next week). But I'm still a bit far away of getting new hardware for exclusive development (around 2 more months I presume). Would it be better if I update (and extend?) the .away or just let the retirement process continue? Don't want to waste others peoples time with this really. Things are going a bit slow down here.
Please set your .away. And good luck with solving job problems. This one is closed.
Looks still inactive
Please proceed with the retirement, haven't had the time or hardware for quite a while.
Thanks for your work and good luck! :)
