Description Mike 2006-02-18 09:44:05 UTC
As the summary states, GtkRadiant is now gpl. The latest version in portage is over a year old now but the source is updated quite frequently in svn, and they have an initial release tarball up on their ftp now. Can we get an updated ebuild for this?

On 2.3.2006 they released a new version, that is of course also gpl, hopefully adding this one with the new license isn't a problem.

We usually don't put in portage beta version or release candidate. Raise again this bug when a real version is out
Comment 3 psk 2006-03-20 13:54:00 UTC
Sorry but there are many beta and RC un portage, available with ~x86 for example, like the two previous versions :

* dev-games/gtkradiant
     Available versions:  1.3.12 1.4.0 1.5.0_pre20041205 1.5.0_pre20050626

All previous version of radiant crash on my PC, please, update ebuild for build 03-02

Thanks

There is a new rpm release on their site as stated above by psk in comment #3. Reopening.

comment #2 is still valid. please reopen when it's out of beta. Thanks.

your reasoning for refusal is invalid: the latest ebuild is already for a (horribly out of date) beta. plus all available ebuilds are non-functional for amd64 without manual 32bit library installation (see #107787). also, the changelog indicates many bug fixes since 1.5.0_pre20050626. please, somebody provide a new ebuild!
