Description Santos Zatarain Vera 2006-01-28 21:15:59 UTC
USE FLAGS
  - HAL
  - DBUS
APPLET
  - Disk mounter

Show all hotplugabbles storage devices, and add the respective icon whan a new device is connected, but don't mount automatically and do the mount show "Don't exits /dev/XXXX in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab". I have HALD running, UDEVMONITOR show all resprectives messages. I have the last ebuilds and the compiling was January 27. Tha HAL package don't create fstab-sync by default, but if you compile this binary (fstab-sync) don't work, i don't found solution.
COMPACT: The applet to mount drives try to mount hal devices as /etc/fstab entries. fstab-sync are broken.

i can't understand what you are trying to say.

we don't use fstab-sync, you don't need to use it to have things automount.
