Description Bert Smith 2006-01-18 09:34:39 UTC
The "resolver" program of jabberd 2.0.9 will fail to resolve any SRV records, and will fall back to using A records.

This makes it impossible to communicate with gtalk users, and any other server where the A record doesn't point to their jabber server.

I have tested this on Sparc, and the problem doesn't occur, so i assume it to be alpha specific.

Can you test 2.0.11-r1?
Comment 3 Bert Smith 2006-10-06 14:33:33 UTC
Same problem occurs on 2.0.11-r1
