are you still having this problem?
do you have nls in your USE flag in /etc/make.conf?
Comment 2 Allen Bolderoff 2002-03-11 01:21:56 UTC
It still fails, yes

Yes I do have nls in the USE var, however it fails with either nls or no nls.

hi again

i think your bison needs an update.

please "emerge bison", which should get you the latest version, then
try "emerge fetchmail" again after.

lemme know if it works out.

Comment 4 Allen Bolderoff 2002-03-21 18:10:57 UTC
did, emerge bison; emerge fetchmail

problem still occurs,

however, I *am* able to manually compile and run a later version of fetchmail.

What versions of bison and yacc have you got installed, just outta curiosity?
Comment 6 Seemant Kulleen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-03-29 19:29:31 UTC
Neither woodchip nor I have been able to reproduce this error. And there have
been no other complaints about fetchmail. Since I have not heard anything
further from you, I am closing this report
with a "WORKSFORME"
