Comment 2 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-31 11:01:26 UTC
gnome herd is not interested in maintaining every gnome-libs using package in
existance.

a few comments on the ebuild :
* pkgconfig is only a buildtime dependency
* i assume virtual/cron is only a runtime dependency
* please follow the general skel.ebuild var order, src_uri should not be at the
bottom (and the ; is unneeded)
* you added keywords for 3 arches, have you tested this ebuild on all those
arches * the header is incomplete, please base ebuilds on skel.ebuild

Version bump to 1.0.0
Comment 6 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-05 01:01:09 UTC
interested in this one but I though gnome-schedule was designed to be used with atd and dcron.
Comment 7 Fabio Bonfante 2006-06-07 16:02:05 UTC
gnome-schedule site says "It supports both 'vixie-cron' and 'dcron', it has been developed and tested on a variety of distributions. ".
I hope... i tryng with vixie on an amd64 but it crash after some seconds... anyone with the same problem? (or successfull running?)
Comment 8 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-08 01:06:39 UTC
hem, it is compiling, I got it running, but it seems it doesn't detect my timezone, nor it launches any task. I guess I'll be bothering upstream :)
Comment 9 Luca Marturana 2006-07-05 02:15:12 UTC
Ebuild added on sunrise-overlay:

Comment 10 Kfir Ozer 2006-07-31 09:52:16 UTC

gnome-schedule-2.1.1.ebuild

Just added the ~amd64 keyword and version bump.
On my system it compiles, installs and works flawlessly.
