Description:   Opened: 2005-06-25 03:14 0000
Hi,

I was so frustrated when i recieved my activcard smart card reader which wouldnt work in linux so i searched and searched around till i came upon this great piece of software.

Later on i found that there is pcsc-lite package submitted to portage, however the ccid generic driver for USB smart card readers was nowehre to be found, so weather it exists ( due to my own inability to search properly, hastiness OR laziness ) or not im submitting the ccid-0.9.3.ebuild for review.

This package of course provides the source code for a generic USB CCID (Chip/Smart Card Interface Devices) driver.

Supported smartcard readers are:
- Advanced Card Systems ACR 38 [16]
- Cherry XX33 keyboard [?]
- Dell keyboard SK-3106 [?]
- Dell smart card reader keyboard [?]
- Gemplus GemPC 433 SL [2]
- Gemplus GemPC Key [3]
- Gemplus GemPC Twin [4]
- Kobil KAAN Base [19]
- Kobil KAAN Advanced [20]
- Kobil KAAN SIM III [21]
- Kobil KAAN mIDentity [22]
- OmniKey CardMan 3121 [5]
- SCM Micro SCR 331 [6]
- SCM Micro SCR 331-DI [11]
- SCM Micro SCR 335 [7]
- SCM Micro SCR 3310
- SCM Micro SPR 532 [9]
- Cherry XX44 keyboard (SmartBoard G83-6744) [18]
- ActivCard USB reader 2.0 [10]
- C3PO LTC32 [13]
- SCM Micro SCR 333 [15]
- Silitek SK-3105 keyboard [12] or C3PO TLTC2USB [14]

Cheers,
Daniel

Modified ebuild of ccid-0.9.3

With some help i was instructed to remove some redundant things from original
ebuild i made ( well forgive me but it is my first ). So now it should be "ok
?".

Syntax error fix for ccid-0.9.3.ebuild.

Sorry, i realized that i made a syntax error in ebuild file, so with this
modification it is corrected. Now when emerging ccid pcsc-lite should be
emerged automatically.

Please search before filing a request. If you think your ebuild is better than
the one in Bug 95956, attach it there with a comment.
