Description:   Opened: 2005-06-18 08:42 0000
launching alsaconf detect all modules but the choice of module which is not
legacy fail because dialog send the menu choice on the error output channel !

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. launch alsaconf
2. choose a choice in the menu which is not legacy
3.

Actual Results:  
All the procedure fail because the module cannot be found

Expected Results:  
Install, load and configure the good module

Resolve the problem on my machine, but not tested on others

Same problem on my machine and the fix in comment #1 (attachment 61450 [details] -
although i did it manually, not with patch) worked.
Could this patch be included in the next release of alsa-utils ? or could the
problem be investigated to see whether that's necessary?

Sorry for the delay, it's fixed now in alsa-utils-1.0.11_rc5-r1.
