Description Werner Pessenhofer 2005-06-15 03:16:58 UTC
After installation of opera-8.01-20050602.5-shared opera cannot be started.
Starting opera causes "Segmentation Fault". No window appears.

Same result with static version. Same result with manually unpacked static version.
I have no possibilities

Comment 1 Heinrich Wendel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-15 04:05:56 UTC
there is no opera-8.01 in portage
Comment 2 Werner Pessenhofer 2005-06-15 04:31:44 UTC
I used the ebuild in bug # 95015 in bugs.gentoo.org
Comment 3 Heinrich Wendel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-15 04:36:15 UTC
it is not official supported as long as it is not in portage
Comment 4 Werner Pessenhofer 2005-06-15 05:12:09 UTC
I know,

I just wanted to post, that it causes a segmentation fault .... I thought, this could be important.
Comment 5 Heinrich Wendel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-15 08:29:59 UTC
please post that in the original bug report then
Comment 6 Werner Pessenhofer 2005-06-15 23:43:04 UTC
