Hello, Please look at the attached file stepmania-3.9_rc2.ebuild. There was a dependency problem with the "mpeg" use-flag. StepMania requires atleast ffmpeg 0.4.9, so the previous dependency, which specified just ffmpeg, is incorrect. StepMania is an advanced Dance Dance Revolution simulator. It supports background movies during play, which require ffmpeg to function. Using the current ebuild, the bgmovies just fail to work. When using the current ebuild, StepMania doesn't play the movies, and says it can't find ffmpeg. According to their site (http://www.stepmania.com), StepMania requires atleast ffmpeg 0.4.9. After emerging this version, and recompiling StepMania, the movies start to work. I'm aware of the fact that ffmpeg 0.4.9 is currently masked on all platforms. I don't know what the view of the Gentoo Development team on masked dependencies is, but I leave that decision in your hands. Just remember that the mpeg use-flag is useless with an ffmpeg version lower than 0.4.9. ~Rutger
