Unless /var/heimdal/kdc.conf is present, the kadmind server will fail to start.
This Kerberos application should also attempt to use the /etc/krb5.conf file
for configuration, just as the others do by default.

I don't seem to see this behaviour -- 0.6.4 does look at /etc/krb5.conf

Please check 0.6.4-r1 and let me know (reopen bug)
