------- Comment #3 From Qui Gon 2005-03-13 09:59:01 0000 -------
The Find-Extensions does not work, because Epiphany is currently built against
seamonkey, the mozilla-suite.
Epiphany needs to be built agains firefox or at least should use a patched
Makefile.in, to include fastfind, instead of typeheadfind.
See also: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-2183879.html#2183879

Mozilla does not have the fastfind-extension, so it won't compile.

I made the find-extension compile against the firefox-finder and the rest
against mozilla and it works fine, but I did not include a patch since, this
requires you to have both firefox and seamonkey for a single feature.

So we have to make a Plan on using firefox only and "deprecate" mozilla.

This is a highly political decision, which will not take place within 2 days,
but I would prefer it, as firefox provides everything mozilla does. NSPR, SSL
etc.
