Wormo is "Stephanie J. Lockwood-Childs" <sjl@borg-cube.com> and is a new recruit for dev-tools, kernel, hardened, etc (mostly ppc, also x86). Her reason is: " My main areas of interest include kernel hacking, linux on ppc (G3 ibook is my primary desktop), and security ... I love learning about Linux and love applying that knowledge to help others." Her ppc mentor is hansmi, with myself as general/backup and same-timezone liason (in real-life too :) She's a keeper... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I quote: "the quiz looks good to me, and needs recruiter approval." Hansmi too...
So far, we've got the ebuild quiz. Make sure you send us the end quiz when that's done as well. I'll take a look at this ebuild quiz tomorrow...
I'll start the 30-day mentoring clock when I get the OK from you guys. End-quiz at the end...
The clock started when the bug was filed :)
the testroot is a bit of overkill for the dependency question... you can just do 'ldd' on the executable and check READMEs and upstream documentation. The ebuild quiz looks good to us. Please send the end-quiz at the end
If it's ok with you guys, I'd like to put off the final quiz for a couple of weeks. I'm starting to work on it but I don't think I'll get much done during Christmas week. Besides family coming to visit, there's also 2 family birthdays to celebrate in late December...
Ok, just send the end quiz to your mentor when you're ready. No rush ;)
marking later... please reopen when you get some time to finish up.
Got the end quiz; its' currently under final review.
Reopen.
welcome aboard.
Dear Stephanie, Possible retirement pending as you haven't shown any activity in the past two months. - Last (viewable) bugzilla activity: 169830: 2007-03-24 20:50:12 - Last CVS activity: Sat Mar 24 20:48:19 UTC 2007 If you are just away, then please use the devaway system. Please be advised that devaway may also be considered inactive if it extends past 60 days. Please reply and advise on your situation. Any developer found to be inactive for a period in excess of 60 days is subject to be retired. Please be aware that if we have not heard from you within 2 weeks time, we will begin the retirement process. If we do retire you, it's pretty easy to come back when you are ready. Just do the ebuild/end-quiz again and you're back on.
Moving stuff to the new alias.
2007 has been a tough year for me... worst by far being a death in the family, but also including various ppc hardware failures so that my work on ppc arch team ended. In november I finally got a new laptop, but being new it's not ppc and I'm thinking about what team I want to be on. Nerdboy thinks he can find me stuff to do on sci team, so maybe that'll work. I'll retake the quiz soon, probably after the holidays.
It's christmas (that is the 25th), thus assigning the remaining ones to infra.

CVS foo done.

Hi Stephanie, It's been a couple of months since the last time we've heard from you. I'd like to make sure everything is okay or at least heading towards better. Please, comment on this bug and tell us a thing or two about your current situation. Thanks in advance,
This year has been tough health-wise, but my vision has recovered and I'm feeling a lot better now thanks to Aleve and a good physical therapist. Where do I send the finished quizes this time?
This is great news. You send your quizzes to recruiters@gentoo.org. The bug is theirs from now on. Recruiters: Please review Stephanie's quiz and reinstate her access.

Please contact me by IRC or mail to schedule it.
I have not seen a response to my email last week asking to schedule a review... if there is a backlog of new devs to handle I understand, just want to make sure my request didn't get lost or eaten by a spam trap

(In reply to comment #24) > > Sent you a list of times via email. > Status update: We have reviewed both quizzes and I asked wormo to submit fixed versions and the extra assignment and then we will have a short final session.
We finished all the review stuff, and my dev.gentoo.org access is back. However cvs checkout isn't working yet; is that still on Infra's TODO list for my reinstatement?
(In reply to comment #26) > We finished all the review stuff, and my dev.gentoo.org access is back. However > cvs checkout isn't working yet; is that still on Infra's TODO list for my > reinstatement? Since you had gentooAccess for dev.gentoo.org and you were in the cvs and svn groups on stork, I suspect your gentooAccess for cvs.gentoo.org was simply missing. I have just fixed that. (Petteri, could you please acknowledge that and close the bug ?) In order for your LDAP setup to be complete we miss your gpg fingerprint and your birthday. I know asking a lady for her age is rude but we'll pretend we didn't see it. ;o) Welcome back, Stephanie. Denis.
Thanks Denis, cvs checkout works fine now. Key fingerprint = 6A45 5AD4 5E99 E09D 42AF D5E6 FCDA 125B B16E 355F DOB = Nov 23, 1972
Done, thanks a lot. Denis.
(In reply to comment #29) > Done, thanks a lot. > > Denis. > Calchan: Please read the full bug before giving people CVS access. In comment 16 you would have found that Stephanie never lost dev.gentoo.org access. I don't see any reason to take it away now so I think we are done here.

Stephanie is a bug-wrangler nowadays and also plans to increase her activity by proxy-maintaining some packages so she's not inactive at all. Bug can be closed.
But she is also inactive in bugzilla for some months: ----Activity Results ----- developer: wormo cia.vc : Thu, 17 Mar 2011 06:16:08 Bugzie : 2012-01-17
There has been illness in my family for many months and things have been crazy. Sorry about not remembering to even put up a devaway :( I hope to return to bugwrangling soon. Another week I think. Hopefully you can put this on hold that long.
Any updates on this?
(In reply to comment #35) > Any updates on this? I think we will need to start the retirement, I hope your problems are better now :(
