ebuild for firestarter 1.0.1

Here is an ebuild I threw together for the 1.0.1 release of firestarter. It
should work but it has one issue that needs some help.

I kept getting sandbox access violations when it tried to install the gconf
schemas. I got around this by disabling the schema install during 'make
install' and then installed them in pkg_postinst. I know this is not a good
solution but it was a quick fix. Any ideas on how to fix this would be
apprecaited!

I also added some support for multiple external interfaces by hooking into the
net postup and postdown functions. It works great on my laptop combined with
the netapplet utility.

patch to allow a USR1 signal to update the status information

I added support to firestarter to handle a USR1 signal to trigger an update the
status information. I then tied this into my /etc/conf.d/net functions to show
an immeadiate update in the task tray after changing network devices. The new
ebuild that supports this will follow...

this is the new ebuild to accompany the USR1 patch.
Comment 8 metnik 2004-12-19 02:32:11 UTC
I renamed it too and it works!
Comment 9 kwant 2004-12-29 06:06:00 UTC
Hi!

Why this ebuild is not included to ebuild tree?

Kwant!
Comment 10 henry 2005-01-22 12:06:22 UTC
Hi, sorry for the fuss, but why still there isn't a version bump for firestarter?
Comment 11 Sam Kyritsoglou 2005-01-26 08:34:37 UTC
I tried this ebuild and I'm not able to start firestarter : I've got this messag :
" A proper configuration for Firestarter was not found. If you aure running Firestarter from the directory you built it in, run 'make install-data-local' to install a configuration, or simply 'make install' to install the whole program.

firestarter will now close."

I've got the same probleme with firestarter-0.9.3 but firestarter-0.9.2 works.
