Finally it is here.
Created attachment 43591 [details] mozilla-firefox-1.0.ebuild First draft, 30 minutes before the release of Firefox 1.0
Created attachment 43592 [details] mozilla-firefox-1.0.ebuild Small typo fixed. The source just appeared: http://ftp28f.newaol.com/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/1.0/source/
ftp.mozilla.org doesn't work directly. Use this mirror ftp28f.newaol.com if you need to
the attached ebuild seems to be the same as the rc ebuild but with the rc filename munging (MY_P stuff) taken out. Just copying the rc ebuild should work too.
any reason why unpack ${A} can't be used? And a || die isn't needed for unpack either
Just tested, works great so far.

We should think about language support starting with this release. These are the locales which are officially supported in the builds: ca-AD cs-CZ de-DE en-US es-AR fi-FI fr-FR hu-HU ja-JP nb-NO pl-PL ro-RO ru-RU sl-SI sv-SE This maybe applies more to mozilla-firefox-bin as I don't know how to localise a source build.
See also bug 69654 for language support request for mozilla-firefox-bin.

Attached ebuild works fine here...
I don't know if it was the ebuild or what, but I stoped the download, and then started it again, and it tried to extract the unfinished source-file instead of refreshing... I have no explaination for this.
http://64.12.168.243/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/1.0/linux-i686/xpi/ In the XPI directory there are xpi packages for different languages that the user can install afterwards. Should we add those, or should we do a full language build like those that mozilla.org distribute?
full language build would be highly preferable imho.
In CVS. Tobias: Taking a look at 69654 and how it can be applied to all Mozilla apps. Thanks!
