Patrick has been helping out with gcc-3.4 patches as well as general bugzilla friendliness.  He is extremely enthusiastic about helping out with Gentoo, and I am delighted to help mentor him over the coming weeks.

He is interested in helping out sound and/or net-mail.

I didn't get to taking care of him before taking off, and I'm going to be very
busy with family and vacation for the next 3 weeks...

Can someone else please take care of reviewing his quiz (emailed 7/27 - 1pm)
and setting him up with an account.  I'm going to see if I can find someone
else to help mentor in my absense (possibly ferringb).

he's ready to be done... just review the quiz with him and set him up... I
didn't get a chance to meet up with him before I left.

He's going to be joining the sound herd and the media-video herd.

I can maintain this one since I've fixed quite a few bugs for it recently

Hi Bryan,

Sorry for the delay - I forgot to cc myself to the bug :(.
I've just taken over maintainership of vtk and changed 
metadata.xml accordingly.
