Description:   Opened: 2004-07-15 08:40 0000
When I tried to emerge libtool as part of "emerge system" on x86_64, I've got
the following error : Invalid configuration 'x86_64-pc-linux-gnu' : machine
type 'x86_64-pc' not recognized.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Get amd64 box
2. Start Gentoo installation Stage 1 or 2
3. emerge system

As I figured out, the problem is in file configure.sub in package
libtool-1.3.5.tar.gz(which is part of libtool-1.5.2-r5 ebuild), it does not
support x86_64 architecture.

I've fixed it by using configure.sub from another package, in case gcc-3.3,
which I previously compiled successfully.
