Description:   Opened: 2002-07-15 12:48 0000
1.
an emerge command seems to be structured like

    emerge [options] [action] [targets]

but the targets are described in the section actions. this confuses as the
structure and the indentation of their explanations and the following
description of actions look identical and the point where description of targets
end and description of actions begin is not obvious.

2.
reading the mapage, I would expect

    emerge --clean rsync

and

    emerge -c rsync

to behave identical. but with -c it behaves like

    emerge clean rsync

which is not mentioned at all.
